Partnership for Advancing Libyan Oil Companies Through U.S. Expertise and Colorado School of Mines
We are eager to collaborate and open the American market for full benefit. We have a long-term strategic plan that includes in-depth studies, training, conferences, and forums in collaboration with prestigious with one of the best American universities in the petroleum industry. We offer assistance and conduct reservoir research providing technical studies for mature or newly developed fields to determine the confirmed recoverable reserves ( reservoirs to optimize production and improve oil and gas reserves ) using the latest, most-efficient, available global methods.
Evaluating studies:
Reviewing and assessing old studies to amend or update them by incorporating new data and using modern technologies.
Studies on drilling rigs:
Conducting studies on the types of rigs operating in fields, whether exploratory, appraisal, or development drilling, etc., and providing the results to oil companies and the National Oil Corporation, supported by the necessary recommendations to improve performance and achieve more effective results.
Guiding oil companies:
Advising oil companies to contract with more advanced drilling rigs, offering detailed recommendations on the types and mechanisms of operation, whether for productive formations or the required drilling depths, and selecting the appropriate rig.
Connecting exploration and drilling departments:
Linking the exploration and drilling departments of companies with laboratories and research centers at American universities, especially Colorado School of Mines for training, development, and saturated rock analysis.
Proposals for knowledge enrichment :
Accompanying every study, project, or operation with the necessity of assigning company engineers to follow the work phases to disseminate and enrich knowledge while the engineers will be part of the study team under our staff close monitoring and guidance. The concept of Training Foreign Assignment (TFA) will be used, as it was practiced in the past, so that if a project study lasts one or two years, one or more engineers can be assigned to work with the study team for training, monitoring, and learning, with the ability of running the project in Libya after the study concludes.
Encouraging companies:
Encouraging companies, to sign Memoranda of Understanding for technical and engineering cooperation in all oil and gas - related fields. In coordination with the Colorado School of Mines proposals for training engineers can be offered in small and large groups for short, medium, and long periods (weeks, months, years).
Future Consultations with the Colorado School of Mines :
We plan to host a group of senior officials from the National Oil Corporation to visit the U.S. for a conference, forum, or meeting, and present cooperation opportunities and the promising potential of the Libyan market. Addiionally, we hope to ,anage with the CSM to sponsor an oil forum through inviting at least 6-8 heads of oil companies, including the chairman and board members of the National Oil Corporation, particularly the board member responsible for oil companies, to conduct short training and development courses for engineers inside Libya
